Site Rules

  1. All terms are agreed at the time of booking.
  2. All new arrivals and visitors MUST report to reception. Only one car per lodge is allowed in the designated parking area.  Visitors of staying guests are requested to be off the site by 9pm in the interest of other guests. Commercial vehicles are strictly NOT admitted.
  3. In consideration to all guests, NO noise, playing of radios, loud music is permitted after 10pm.
  4. Lighting is kept to a minimum around the park and the use of a torch is advisable after dusk.
  5. Dogs and other pets are not allowed at Sweetings Wood with the exception of assistance dogs.
  6. Sweetings Wood is an adults only campsite.
  7. Ball games are not permitted in the lodge and car park areas.
  8. STRICTLY NO Fires, fire pits or BBQ’s (other than proprietary BBQ’s) are allowed on site. BBQ’s must NOT burn the grass or picnic benches and must be placed on the stands provided. Any person damaging the grass or picnic benches will be charged a minimum £30 for any repairs. BBQ’s must not be left unattended whilst alight or still hot. And ashes must be disposed of in the metal ash bins provided. Please do not use our hedgerows and woodland areas as a fuel resource.
  9. Chinese Lanterns are STRICTLY NOT permitted on site.
  10. The use of private generators, gazebos, metal detectors, BB Guns, water pistols, water bombs and firearms is strictly forbidden, anywhere on the site. Any malicious damage will not be tolerated and must be paid for at full commercial replacement rate.
  11. Pot washing must not take place outside.
  12. Washing may not be hung out on the site.
  13. Rubbish should be put in the correct bins (which are located at the site entrance) in a tidy manner. Please help us keep the countryside tidy.
  14. All our lodges are STRICTLY no smoking. Please smoke in the designated areas.
  15. Please leave our lodges and the surrounding area as you would wish to find them.
  16. DEPARTURES: Lodges must be vacated by 10:30am. Late departure may be available upon request. (additional charges apply).
  17. No complaints will be considered after your stay has ended. Any problems should be reported to the management immediately, so we may have the opportunity to rectify the problem.
  18. Management accepts no responsibility for any loss, theft or injury, where ever, however caused or sustained.
